Database Lead Engineer
Equabli seeks an experienced Database Lead Engineer with a focus on database development. This role will be part of the scrum team to help with product development. We work in an agile fashion, in small cross-functional squads, with daily stand-ups and fortnightly retrospectives. You will bring new ideas and become an integral part of the process of continuously improving our product.
Job Responsibility
Understand business and technical requirements in the context of the database.
Enforce the database standards and best practices.
Query and Storage Optimization.
Development of complex queries, views, functions, and stored procedure.
Assist team in day-to-day database development activities.
Work with various data formats like JSON, XML, csv, excel and TXT format
Skill Set
Worked in a cloud environment
High-level understanding of RDBMS, SQL / No SQL
Experience of any ETL development on both homogenous and heterogenous data synch, Having Experience of Talend
Experience of handling VLDB
Strong written/oral communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
Finance domain knowledge is desirable
Having good knowledge of at least one programming language python/java/c#
Exposure to any reporting tool like PowerBI, Quick Sight, etc.
Having good analytical skills
Experience: 7+ years of experience in database development.
Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, or related disciplines.
