Senior Engineer- O365 & Endpoint Administration
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Engineer – O365 & Endpoint Administration to manage and secure our Microsoft 365 environment and end-user computing infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have proven experience in Office 365 administration, email and endpoint security, vulnerability management, and comprehensive user lifecycle processes. This role requires strong technical, analytical, and troubleshooting skills with a proactive approach to security and compliance.
Key Responsibilities
Office 365 Administration:
Administer and manage Microsoft 365 services including Exchange Online, SharePoint, OneDrive, Teams, and Intune.
Handle user management, license assignments, and mailbox configurations through Azure AD and M365 Admin Center.
Configure and maintain DLP (Data Loss Prevention), retention, and compliance policies.
Monitor system performance, perform health checks, and resolve O365-related incidents.
Maintain comprehensive documentation for configurations, incidents, and procedures.
Email & Endpoint Security:
Manage and optimize email security solutions (Microsoft Defender, Proofpoint, Mimecast, etc.).
Monitor and respond to phishing, spam, and malware incidents.
Maintain and enhance endpoint protection across Windows and macOS systems.
Implement and monitor endpoint compliance, encryption, and device protection policies through Intune.
Endpoint Management & Support:
Perform advanced troubleshooting for Windows and macOS devices.
Manage endpoint backups, patch updates, and software deployments.
Implement endpoint device hardening standards to strengthen security posture.
Support mobile devices (iOS/Android) through MDM/Intune management.
Handle onboarding and offboarding processes, ensuring proper account provisioning, data backup, and secure device handling.
Maintain hardware inventory, asset tagging, and lifecycle tracking.
Manage and maintain VPN configurations and user remote access setups.
Security & Compliance:
Manage and monitor security alerts through Microsoft Security Center or Defender for Endpoint
Implement and monitor Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA), Conditional Access, and security baselines across M365 and endpoints.
Manage BitLocker and FileVault encryption policies for data protection.
Coordinate and manage Vulnerability Assessment and Penetration Testing (VAPT) activities with internal and external security teams.
Track and remediate vulnerabilities identified during VAPT and compliance audits.
File Transfer & Data Security:
Administer and maintain SFTP servers and secure file transfer configurations.
Manage access permissions, encryption, and data transfer integrity.
Required Skills:
Strong expertise in Microsoft 365 Admin Center, Azure AD, Exchange Online, and Intune.
Experience with VAPT coordination, endpoint hardening, DLP, and email/endpoint security.
Familiarity with backup solutions, patch management, and onboarding/offboarding workflows.
Excellent communication, analytical, and documentation skills.
