Job Summary:
This position is for an experienced Database Lead Engineer with a focus on database development. Database lead engineer will be part of the scrum team to help with product development. We work in an agile fashion, small cross-functional squads, with daily stand-ups and fortnightly retrospectives. You will bring new ideas and become an integral part of the process of continuously improving our product.
Responsibilities:
• Understand business and technical requirements in the context of the database.
• Enforce the database standards and best practices.
• Query and Storage Optimization.
• Development of complex queries, views, functions, and stored procedure.
• Assist team in day-to-day database development activities.
• Work with various data formats like JSON, XML, csv, excel and TXT format
Skill Set:
• Worked in a cloud environment.
• High-level understanding of RDBMS, SQL / No SQL.
• Experience of any ETL development on both homogenous and heterogenous data synch, Having Experience of Talend.
• Experience of handling VLDB.
• Strong written/oral communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
• Finance domain knowledge is desirable.
• Having good knowledge of at least one programming language python/java/c#.
• Exposure to any reporting tool like PowerBI, Quick Sight, etc.
• Having good analytical skills.
Experience: 7+ years of experience in database development.
Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, or related disciplines.
